http://careerassessmentsite.com/assessments/mbti/1017-mbti-step-ii-overview/

Did you know that a personality test exists?  Yes! Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality test measures preferences like introversion and extroversion. An individual may use this test to guide their career decisions. Also, many employers use this tool to find the right fit for their employees within their organizations. Can you relate to any of the following personality types?

Introverts (I) prefer to work alone and focus on one task.

Extroverts (E) are described to be highly energized people who enjoy multiple projects at once

Judgers (J) prefer structure, highly organized and believes in following rules

Sensors (S) are detail oriented, realistic people who use common sense and past experiences to solve problems

Intuitives (N) usually focuses on the overall goal, creative and artsy

Feelers (F) usually think of others first and how their actions will affect them

Thinkers (T) make decisions using logic, value fairness, and honesty

Perceivers (P) are agile, act spontaneous in a given situation and often keep their options open

How does this test work?

After taking the Myer-Briggs type indicator test. Your score will be indicated in themes base on your personality type. For example, if you’re ISTJ interpreted as Introverts, Sensors, Thinkers, Judgers code. If you have this code, some career options are Accountant, Auditor, Government Employee, Chief financial officer, Web development engineer.

Business Email Etiquette

While there is no substitute for person – person direct communications to convey message and content, time and distance make electronic communications a useful and, at times, necessary.  In conveying a message electronically content and delivery are key, but other factors are critical in establishing tone and ensure a positive reception from the intended recipient.

Formatting that is both appealing and legible, and timeliness in communicating are a good start.  Set the tone with a courteous greeting that mirrors the level of formality between sender and recipient.  When in doubt – keep it formal and professional.  Remember spell check is your friend and sending a corrupted or virus infected file will get you defriended.

“You are what you send”
