The Decision Making Process By Latrisha Maynard

The Decision Making Process

By Latrisha Maynard

When it comes to decision-making, I am sometimes indecisive. I believe that there are some instances where it is OK to be indecisive. When I think of having to make a decision, I always want to make the best one that is reflective of what I want and what is best for me. I weigh all my options in depth before making the decision. I am sometimes concerned about making the wrong decision. I know that most times, if I make the wrong decision, I can always learn from it, but I do not want to make the wrong decision in the first place. I know it is not the best attitude to have towards it, but I am working on it. Many things factor into the decision-making process. One factor is your state of mind. Another one is circumstance. Last one is Benefit. I believe that all three of those factors play a role in what kind of decision I make. However, it might be different for other people. One factor that I believe goes for everyone is age. At different ages, we have different responsibilities, which will make some decisions easier than others will.  Ultimately, we are all constantly making decisions whether we realize it or not. I hope that people make decisions that are best for themselves and the people around them.

Interviewing Skills

Interview skills are skills candidates should have to stand out on a job interview. These skills can be asking questions, behaving properly at an interview and avoiding or controlling nervousness, practice good nonverbal communication, dress for the job, use appropriate language and avoid talking too much etc. Doing these, you have a better chance of convincing the interviewer you are the right person for the job.
First impression can be very hard in any situation. During an interview, you want to give the best first impression that you can. For example: greet the interviewer with a smile and a firm hand shake and dress appropriately according to the job your applying for and also ask questions about the company to show you’re interested in the job.
These are some tips on how you can avoid being nervous and to do a great job on the interview: Don’t do hand gestures, speak slowly and clearly, stand up while you wait for the interviewer and most importantly make eye contact, that’s shows confidence.
