HOW TO LAND A JOB.

Are you prepared and ready?

Most of us tend to wait for a job opportunity before we get ourselves ready.
Have you considered being prepared at all times?
Do you really think you are only being interviewed when you walk into that room? My answer is No.
You are always being interviewed and you want to stay on top of things to prove you are worth the employer's time and most importantly, are you ready to give up values for that job offer?

Self assessment is an assessment of what's important to your identity.  Meaning, what are your skills and values?

Think of what someone else would say about you.

Some values may include:  Family, education, job security, adaptation, advancements, independence, financial rewards etc…

A unique way to master this self assessment is establishing an elevator pitch. This is where you will confidently introduce yourself, list career goals, experience and what skills can you offer that would benefit the employers organization.
Keep it simple and short!

After restless nights of worrying, you finally get a call saying they would love to have you come in for an interview: now what? First, don't panic ! When in doubt of what to wear, go with business casual! Here are a few images of what business casual and professional ou...
