Do:
- Dress professionally
- Arrive at the interview location 10 – 15 minutes early
- Give a firm handshake and keep eye contact

- Come with multiple copies of your resume, cover letter, and portfolio if necessary
- Prepare answers to common questions beforehand
- Questions are likely to include:
- Tell me about yourself.
- What is your greatest strength? Weakness?
- Tell me about a challenge you have overcome.
- Why should we hire you?
- Answer all questions in relation to a work environment
- Keep answers concise and to the point
- Do research about the company and job you are applying for
- Look on their website and familiarize yourself with the company
- Prepare questions for the interviewer
- Thank the interviewer for their time
- Ask for a business card
- Follow up with a thank you letter
Do Not:
- Answer questions with unprofessional personal stories
- Ask about salary or benefits
- Have your phone on or out
