Seeing How Multiple Sclerosis Affects Cognitive Impairment

Attached is a study led by Professor Richard Reilly. Professor Reilly is an expert in neural engineering. The study he conducted consisted of 95 subjects; half suffered from Multiple Sclerosis, the other half didn't. Research showed what tests on neuropsychologists would do on Multiple Sclerosis patients. It didn't show how Multiple Sclerosis affected the cognitive impairment of an individual. Professor Reilly and his associates used EEG (electroencephalography). Which is an assessment that developed new mathematical methods to extract information from Multiple Sclerosis patients' scalp. The data will allow them to see not only the cognitive impairment but also the cognitive functioning.
